Bob Legate - Guitar

Bob has played guitar for a number of years with a wide range of experience.

He studied guitar locally with David Tester and Ron Pritchett and has played guitar for the popular local bands Carnival, Fresh and Bookie & the Boobs.

Fresh   

In the late 1960's, Bob signed with MCA records and was a founding member of the rock group Gospel Oak which recorded an album in the Beatles Abbey Road studios.  The group, which included Grateful Dead harmonica player Matthew Kelly, recorded and toured throughout Europe extensively.

Bob has also toured throughout the US and Caribbean including a stint with Commodore Cruise Lines.  As a performing artist he has worked with Percy Sledge, the Drifters and numerous other regional and national acts.
